Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, creating an account, or registering for a trip with Christian Israel Tours (“CIT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of a group, you represent that you have the authority to bind each member to these terms.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Christian Israel Tours. Please read them carefully before booking.

2. Booking & Payments

A booking is confirmed only after we receive your completed registration and the required deposit. Deposits are typically $500 per person and are due at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.

The remaining balance is due no later than 90 days before the departure date. If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and apply the cancellation policy below.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing due to significant currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or changes in government taxes and fees, with at least 30 days' notice prior to departure.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to our team. The following refund schedule applies based on the number of days before the scheduled departure:

Notice periodRefund
90+ days before departureFull refund minus $200 admin fee
60–89 days before departure50% of total trip cost
30–59 days before departure25% of total trip cost
Less than 30 daysNo refund

We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment. In the event of a trip cancellation initiated by CIT due to safety concerns, force majeure, or insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be provided.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and lost luggage. International travel carries inherent risks, and insurance provides essential protection.

CIT is not responsible for any losses, expenses, or inconveniences resulting from the lack of adequate insurance coverage. We can recommend reputable travel insurance providers upon request.

5. Limitation of Liability

Christian Israel Tours acts as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, ground transportation operators, restaurants, and local guides. We exercise care in selecting our partners but are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by the acts or omissions of these third parties.

CIT shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, civil unrest, war, terrorism, epidemics, government restrictions, strikes, or weather conditions.

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific trip in question.

6. Health & Safety

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate in the planned activities. Our tours involve significant walking on uneven terrain, climbing steps, and exposure to varying weather conditions.

You must disclose any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary requirements at the time of registration. CIT reserves the right to decline or remove a participant whose condition may pose a risk to themselves or the group.

You are responsible for obtaining any required vaccinations and complying with health regulations for Israel and any transit countries. We recommend consulting your physician at least six weeks before departure.

7. Passport & Visa Requirements

All travelers must hold a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond the return date. US citizens do not currently require a visa for tourism in Israel for stays under 90 days, though this may change.

It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have the correct travel documents, visas, and entry permits. CIT is not liable for any costs or losses arising from inadequate documentation, including denied boarding or entry.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
